The quiver I felt
as my teeth slid off your lip
was a sob
my fingers yanked your eyes
up in your skull
with your hair
amber fireworks
in slow motion
my eyes grazed by
the downward momentum
my tongue is shoved
like a crutch
under the roof
of your mouth.
